Description
Gear is a strong colour enhancer and sealer for natural stone. When applied to unpolished stone it immediately brings out the colour of the stone as if it were polished. When applied to already polished stone it deepens and enhances the colour and shine. It is the classic product for restoring the colour of stone which has been sand blasted, tumbled or acid treated.
It is also used on polished granite slabs to enhance the colour on edges or the face. It gives a permanent wet look. Gear also provides strong anti-staining protection to the treated stone.
It renders the surface repellent to water and oil based liquids and inhibits the penetration of these liquids into the material. The liquids remain on the surface and can be wiped off without staining.
Gear is ideal for use on surfaces which come into contact with foods. It is certified food safe.
